A feather in your cap with no plastic
Plastic is completely off limits for the creations from indicap. As the label explains, a cap is composed of fourteen parts. Company founder Adrian Riedle exclusively uses sustainable materials for each of these pieces. The world’s first-ever water-repellent cardboard label, for example, is made from 100% recycled paper. The organic cotton is sourced from charitable cotton-growing projects in Kyrgyzstan and Uganda.
For the fine detail such as the appliqués, the label based near Lake Constance, works with olive or box wood. The caps are all handmade in Germany by trained milliners. Besides casual caps for adults and kids in muted colours, indicap also offers beanies.
