boochen makes several dreams come true – dreams that unite surfers around the world: reversible and coordinated, the clever bikini designs are all about fun and variety. In response to the desire for better environmental protection and waste-free oceans, company founders Anna Chevalier and Jingjing Qi use “Repreve Our Ocean”, a technical fabric developed from plastic waste. Since the material is more durable than unprotected textiles and the models can be adjusted in several places, sun and sea worshippers everywhere will be able to enjoy their bikinis for a very long time.
The label from Hanover is committed to fair working conditions and works in close collaboration with a small studio near Hong Kong. To give women greater freedom of movement and more confidence, the models, which also include leggings, are designed in such a way that they do not slip or pinch when moving. boochen has been nominated for the German Sustainability Prize 2020.
